I am starting this fund for the Cancer research. I believe that research has a potential to find cure and to prevent the disease in the first place. Every bit will help me reach my goal.

Federal public lands like these are the backbone of conservation. They are national treasures. And they need our unwavering protection. But the threats of development, climate change, and insufficient funding are just a few of the perils facing the lands we hold dear. With strong citizen advocates, the future is still being determined for these unique places. The Global Fund for Humanity strongly supports the vital role that federal ownership and stewardship of federal lands play in advancing conservation. They are integral to many of our science-based solutions that benefit the communities and plants and animals that depend on them. The whooping crane is one of the rarest birds in North America, with fewer than 830 of them left on Earth. Wetland conversion, habitat loss, and hunting pressures have pushed the population to dangerously low numbers. Reduced to just fragments of their historical range, the whooping crane is running out of space it needs to survive. And it’s just one of the thousands of species needing conservation help. Over one-third of America’s fish and wildlife species are at risk of extinction today. The alarming loss of biodiversity is not just a threat to species but to the communities, jobs, and economies that depend on them. Your donation will do more to protect at-risk species before they slide toward extinction. Still, current funding levels are less than 5 percent of what is necessary to halt biodiversity loss. Time is running out to conserve our most vulnerable species while we still can.

Thousands of sea turtles die from dangerous migrations on the high seas every year. Fraught with jeopardy, some must swim as far as 1,250 miles to reach their nesting grounds, but many never complete the journey. Deep sea mining, overfishing, and entangled fishing gear are just a few of the perils they face on their treacherous swim. Abuses like these regularly go unchecked in the high seas that cover nearly half of our Planet. The high seas are a no man’s land—vast open ocean areas beyond any national territory—with few regulations and fewer consequences. We cannot save our ocean unless we protect marine life on the high seas. There’s never been a more urgent time to safeguard our ocean and the diverse marine life on the high seas. A new, legally binding treaty to protect marine biological diversity is critically needed. Now’s the time for urgent action. To create the most significant public outcry possible, we’re joining together with more than 25 like-minded organizations to show the collective strength of our Voice for the Planet and create the most considerable action for nature we have yet seen. Decades of corruption, armed conflict, and lack of investment, combined with the effects of natural disasters and recurrent outbreaks of cholera, measles, and Ebola, have left millions of people in extreme poverty. The country has been in a humanitarian crisis for decades, and the situation is only expected to worsen. We have created this fund to alleviate the suffering of children in the Democratic Republic of Congo. There are approximately 5,000,000 orphans there, and massive need throughout the country. In a nation with a history of post-colonial civil war and a lack of potential for young people, there is an opportunity to help raise solid and educated children who will transform the DRC for the better. This project will accommodate many vulnerable children to offer them well-being and enable them to secure their future and become autonomous.

Helping different causes worldwide

The case fatality rate for the Ebola virus is 90%, according to the WHO The outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo is considered the second deadliest. This project aims to reduce the risk of Ebola virus infection and the impact of the disease. In addition, a disease prevention kit will be developed, as well as a psychosocial intervention kit adapted to the cultural realities in the country.

The mission of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation is to advance the awareness and treatment of Angelman syndrome through education, information, research, and support for individuals with Angelman syndrome, their families and other concerned parties. The International Labor Organization (ILO) reports that almost ten million people today are being forced into sexual slavery. Victims of sex trafficking acquire adverse physical and psychological health conditions and social problems. Thus, sex trafficking is a critical health issue with broader social implications requiring medical and legal attention. The project provides emergency rescue operations and aftercare for at-risk women and girls sold into sex work and affected by HIV/AIDS in DRC.

Our vision is to live in a world where no one develops a preventable cancer, we are dedicated to researching cancer prevention and survival.

CWA March Madness for March of Dimes Fundraiser

Donation drive for Incubate Nepal, a nonprofit organization that runs 10-week mentorship programs every year, connecting some of the most talented high school students from all over Nepal and from a range of socio-economic backgrounds, with young mentors in the United States to collaborate on open-ended projects. We are currently running a donation drive for our 2023 iteration! We utilize the funding to accomplish three main goals: - Provide support to our student leaders: As we grow as an organization, we have begun working with student leaders and coordinators who can manage teams and execute various logistical tasks. While they work with us on a voluntary basis, we would like to be able to reimburse them for various costs they incur. - Provide stipends to participants: Many of our participants come from rural and underprivileged backgrounds. For them, participating in a summer program like Incubate Nepal means foregoing potential income from summer work, which they use to assist their families. We do not want applicants to be stifled by such financial constraints, and therefore have piloted a stipend system where students can apply for stipends and reimbursements. - Sponsor and support increasingly sophisticated projects: Last year, for example, we made our first attempt at a mechanical engineering project, where students designed and built their first remote-controlled car from scratch. This involved sourcing microprocessors, parts, and paid access to workshops. We would like to keep providing such opportunities for our students! Millions of people in Ukraine are caught in an escalating military conflict and in growing need of urgent humanitarian assistance. An estimated 3.4 million people need humanitarian assistance in eastern Ukraine, and a large-scale military invasion of Ukraine would deepen the crisis, likely forcing millions from their homes. Thousands of civilians have already been killed and injured in eight-years of armed conflict in Ukraine, with some 1.5 million forcibly displaced from their destroyed homes. One of this century's worst disasters has impacted millions and left thousands homeless following two devastating earthquakes near the Türkiye-Syria border on 6 February 2023. The earthquake hit communities at the peak of winter, leaving hundreds of thousands of people, including small children and older people, without access to shelter, food, water, heat, and medical care in cold temperatures. Myanmar faces deeply rooted humanitarian challenges with 1 million people in urgent need of life-saving aid and protection support. Armed conflict, natural disasters, intercommunal violence and the impact of COVID-19 continue to drive humanitarian needs in Myanmar. Some 336,000 people have been displaced across the country. Some 250,000 of them are in situations of protracted displacement. A 22-year-old woman, Masha Amini, was killed by morality police in Iran. In mid-September 2022, a 22-year-old Iranian-Kurdish woman named Masha Amini was arrested by the morality police — because she was not wearing a hijab — while visiting Iran’s capital Tehran with her family, as reported by The New York Times. The morality police detailed Amini, and while in their custody, authorities confirmed that she died, attributing her sudden death to a heart attack. However, CT scans of Amini’s body proved that she experienced a brain hemorrhage; eyewitness accounts, as well as footage and images of Amini after she was arrested, have led many to speculate that Iran’s morality police physically beat her. At the same time, she was detained, causing her to die. We have created this fund to fight the “relentless battle against the Iranian regime’s misogyny” and advocate the right for women to choose what they wear — essentially protesting the hijab laws. The fund will support the committee’s efforts to help achieve equal rights for Iranian women. The fund will buy billboards, ads, and other large-scale visibility options in major cities. It's been over 100 years since such powerful earthquakes hit Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake that shook southeastern Turkey and northwestern Syria early on Feb. 6 was just the start. Hours later, a new 7.5 tremor occurred. The death toll is climbing, with 40,000+ dead so far. Many people are still under the rubble. Countless homes, businesses, schools, and community support have been destroyed; hospitals are powerless. Hundreds of thousands are homeless and at risk for disease, exposure, and starvation. A state of emergency has been declared for 10 of Turkey's 81 provinces.
