A peaceful Saturday in Palestine has erupted into a humanitarian crisis. Orphaned children live in a world of violence and vulnerability on the streets of Bukavu, Goma, and other locations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Every day, they struggle to survive fear and hunger… and hope to be seen with love! Thousands are destitute due to the conflicts in the country, and your sponsorship can transform this reality and give them a new future! The project started with supporting orphanages and currently runs a shelter to provide food, housing, education, medical care, and security for orphaned children, mothers, and pregnant women from the aftermath of armed conflicts in the country. The North Kivu region in the Democratic Republic of Congo has been plagued by ongoing violence and displacement, leaving thousands of innocent people in dire need of assistance. In response to this crisis, the North Kivu Violence and Displacement Relief Fund has been established to provide much-needed support to those affected. This fund aims to address the immediate needs of displaced individuals, including access to clean water, food, shelter, and medical care. Additionally, the fund will focus on long-term solutions, such as supporting the rebuilding of communities and providing educational opportunities for children who have been forced to leave their homes. An estimated 3,000 people have died and up to 10,000 people have been reported missing in the massive floods triggered by Hurricane Daniel, which overwhelmed the eastern parts of the country. International assistance is required due to humanitarian needs exceeding local capacities. The storm also affected Greece, Turkey, and Bulgaria, causing at least 27 deaths in those regions before striking Libya, resulting in a major catastrophe.

A small but highly trained band of medical and technical rescue experts, The "Latschenkopf" mountain rescue team's rescue station (built in 1934), has aged somewhat. Despite the valiant efforts of countless hours invested by every team member over several generations, some structural changes now need to be made: - Fire safety regulations stipulate a second emergency exit and a new staircase - Our wood fired oven (for both heating and cooking) is entirely rusted and broken down - The hallway's floor is poor, old concrete and needs a new concrete layer and tiles - A shower is direly needed with increasing numbers of rescue missions, which leave us rather sweaty every time, with no time for proper hygiene. - Additional medical gear demands its space and we need to renovate our office/wardrobe area to make space for additional backpacks Please help us in collecting the required funds, to enable us to provide our rescue services in a very busy hiking area and ski resort

They obtained a quote from a specialist for 2,000€ which would allow them to add supplemental headlights, search lights, and nearfield surround lights. At this time, their headlights barely show the way ahead and they drive in rough terrain at night a lot. Your contribution would make the lives of our first responders safer! We are a charity supporting various mountain rescue organisations, mainly the Munich chapter and are collecting these funds for the lights upgrade.

The Global fund for Humanity is dedicated to supporting children in the West Bank . Our team distributed hundreds of milk formula and diaspers to families in dire need at the Jenin Refugee Camp, with their situation worsened by the Gaza war .
