More than 3000 people have been killed and over 2,000 are injured. These numbers are expected to rise in the coming days, as Moroccan urban search and rescue (USAR) continue their initial assessment and are able to gain further access into hard to reach, remote areas of the country. Hurricane Idalia made landfall on the Gulf Coast of Florida on August 30, 2023 as a Category 3 hurricane. The Florida coast is expected to experience some of the highest winds in recent history, with record-breaking storm surges and flooding, resulting in catastrophic damage. Tornado warnings are also in effect across central and northern Florida. Evacuation orders were issued in nearly 30 Florida counties and recovery efforts will be massive. Hurricane Idalia is projected to continue up the coast towards the Carolinas in the coming days. Open Arms is a non-governmental organization in Badalona whose main mission is to rescue from the sea those people who try to reach Europe. They have been particularly helping in Italy, the Italian government even requesting their help not later than this August. We help low-income and below poverty line category students from India with nutritious afternoon meals in their schools. This effort is part of the Indian government led PM POSHAN (Mid-day meal) programme and aims to eliminate classroom hunger and counter malnutrition.

The Blue House Project is a non-profit organization founded to support disadvantaged families living in tents in the desert of Pushkar (Rajasthan - India). The families belong to the Scheduled Castes who are deprived of basic needs, stable income and education. Pedal the Cause for cancer research. 100% of every dollar raised supports innovative cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Event Weekend: Saturday, September 23rd, and Sunday, September 24th riders will bike on 8 course options (6 road and 2 gravel), a signature Spin Zone, an Inspired virtual participation option and a Kids Challenge. You can ride anywhere from 11 miles to 100 miles! Employees who wish to ride/participate in the event should register directly on PTC website. Registration fees: $150 after, $50 for Inspired, and $50 for Kids Challenge. I have designed a custom jersey for Team Rabobank to wear during the event. They are in production and will be available to purchase prior to the event. Every rider has a fundraising goal as well. Hopefully, if you are not riding you can donate to your favorite coworker who is riding, and help them meet their goals. When donating in Bright Funds, you can select the box to add a note. Xsolis Spread the Aloha, #mauistrong The wildfires on Maui have left the community of Lahaina devastated, many families displaced, and have caused tragic death. The County of Maui and the State of Hawaii will need to undergo massive rebuilding efforts. The timing of our Aloha events will give us an opportunity to support the disaster and recovery relief. Donations to this fund will support each non-profit equally. Xsolis will match 100% of donations from up to $2500.

Jennison co-founded Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) in 2012. Happening on the third Thursday each May, GAAD calls upon the tech community to learn about and experience digital access issues encountered by people with disabilities. On the occasion of GAAD's 10th anniversary in 2021, he co-founded the GAAD Foundation, whose mission is to disrupt the culture of technology and digital product development to include accessibility as a core requirement. Jennison has been working in digital accessibility since 2006, beginning on Royal Bank of Canada (RBC's) IT Accessibility Team in Toronto. He was recruited to the Silicon Valley in 2013 to formalize LinkedIn’s digital accessibility efforts. Currently he is their Head of Accessibility Engineering Evangelism. In 2020, Business Insider named Jennison "1 of 30 power players helping new CEO Ryan Roslansky run LinkedIn.
