The funds we raise will be going to the American Red Cross, Cruz Roja Mexicana, Canadian Red Cross, and Associação Prato Cheio. There is no obligation to participate. For those of you who would like to, your donations will support the provision of shelter, food, healthcare, and hope in the face of emergencies and need. Our goal is to raise $2500 to make a difference! For everyone who donates $25 or more to our fundraiser in Bright Funds, you will receive an invitation to a Peloton event to take place on June (date to be defined ). June is Pride Month. Pride is celebrated annually in June to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots, and works to achieve equal justice and equal opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) Americans. This Pride Fund supports organizations that promote the safety and advance the wellbeing of the LGBTQ+ community through advocacy, direct services, mental and physical health accessibility, education, and public policy changes. Through a single donation to this Fund, you can support multiple organizations' initiatives working to ensure acceptance, equity, and justice for all.

World Refugee Day, recognized annually on June 20, was established by the United Nations to celebrate and honor refugees around the world. According to the UN, every minute, 20 people leave everything behind to escape war, persecution or terror. More than 80 million people around the world have fled their homes, which is just the beginning of a long and difficult journey, often involving refugee camps, abrupt relocations, family separation, and unnavigable bureaucratic processes. The theme for 2021 is “together we heal, learn, and shine.” The shared experience of COVID-19 has shown us that we only succeed if we stand together. Through a single donation to the Fund, you can support multiple organizations working for and on behalf of refugees around the world. World Oceans Day, recognized annually on June 8, was established by the United Nations to both celebrate the beauty and mystery of the ocean, as well as to promote public interest in protecting, preserving, and sustainably managing its resources. The 2021 theme is “The Ocean: Life & Livelihoods.” The ocean covers 70% of the planet and produces at least half of the available oxygen; it is home to the vast majority of earth’s biodiversity, is a major source of food for billions around the world, and is a key driver of global economies. However, 90% of big fish populations are depleted, more than 50% of coral reefs are destroyed, and we are taking more from the ocean than can be replenished. Through a single donation to the Fund, you can support multiple organizations' initiatives working to protect our oceans and the life within them. The challenges of the past year have only underscored the importance of “community” in all contexts; across neighborhoods, nations, and the world. The second wave of COVID is devastating India. Ahmednagar District, where Snehalaya operates is one of the worst-hit with no beds, oxygen, or medicines available to our largely rural population. We are pressuring authorities to improve the situation while also operating our own medical facilities & offering vital support to as many of the 150,000 plus in our district who have tested positive with COVID. Since March 2021 a flood of positive cases has overburdened medical facilities throughout our district and in April we were in the top ten worst-affected districts in India with over 1,000 new cases a day. With high demand & limited medical facilities available for COVID patients it is the poorest in society who are hardest hit. Cases of trafficking, child marriage, and domestic violence are also increasing & access to support is limited by lockdowns. Our 100-bed hospital is currently treating around 3000 COVID patients a day & a 150-bed COVID Care Center has free medical & quarantine facilities for asymptomatic patients & those with mild to moderate symptoms. Outreach work, ambulance services, community radio, and 24/7 helplines are helping us reach 5 million people, including women and children who are victims of the shadow pandemic causing increased domestic violence, child marriage & trafficking cases. Potential Long Term Impact By supporting the most vulnerable groups with medical support during the current second wave we will improve their chances of surviving the pandemic crisis and reduce the number of people requiring our help once the crisis ends. We will also provide women and children with the help and services they need right now and will also help them to rebuild their lives once the pandemic has been contained. The Macquarie Dublin office has a special association with the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind. A number of years ago we sponsored the training of a puppy “MacDub” to become a qualified Assistance Dog. MacDub was placed with his family and quickly became “Best Friend” to Leon, a young boy with autism. MacDub is still working away as professionally as ever with his family and making a huge difference in their lives. This year Macquarie AirFinance in Dublin is getting involved with the IGDB annual fundraising campaign and taking on the challenge of walking, running or cycling 100km throughout the month of May! The money raised will enable the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind to change the lives of people who are vision impaired and the families of children with autism. Celebrate Pride 2021 by giving back!

Bright Funds Foundation is funding the purchase of oxygen concentrators and cylinders. These concentrators will be mobilized to local hospitals through a unique partnership between Direct Relief and United Way Bengaluru in India. Oxygen concentrators are among the most vital items needed to treat people with severe Covid-19, who often arrive at hospitals with extreme hypoxemia. High-flow oxygen concentrators are used in hospitals to treat patients needing intensive care, while low-flow concentrators can help hospitals safely discharge patients who are stable but require at-home breathing support. Direct Relief is providing thousands of oxygen concentrators in response, transported by FedEx, free-of-charge, via two donated 777 charter flights. United Way of Bengaluru in India is also purchasing concentrators and cylinders on behalf of grassroots organizations. They are employing grassroots teams to deliver concentrators and cylinders. With your support, we can alleviate the oxygen shortages faced by district hospitals and save countless lives who are dependent on a regular supply of oxygen to survive. Hello friends! This year I am taking on a new challange to complete the Mazowiecki Gravel bike ultramarathon 🚴🏼‍♂️🏕🚵🏼‍♂️which is the first bike ultramarathon around Mazowsze region in Poland. The 528 km route must be finished in 64 hours 😅 This is a great opportunity to support our colleagues, friends and families in India affected so badly by COVID 19 pandemic💔

The country has seen a significant spike in COVID-19 infections and deaths to record levels, completely overwhelming its healthcare system. We ask you to contribute to and support efforts to provide relief to those effected by the pandemic.

Welcome to ProDogRomania! We are a non-profit association and would like to inform you about our animal welfare work in Romania. The association was founded in order to represent and promote the idea of animal welfare beyond the borders of Germany in Europe and especially to fight against the misery of dogs in Romania. In a country like Romania, where animal welfare is still in its infancy or even non-existent, we have set ourselves the goal of counteracting these abuses. Helping to help themselves is our first priority! We have been planning it for a long time... Until now there has never been the opportunity... A realisation was not possible... and now finally, together with the PDR Team Baile and the veterinary team from Timisoara, we will be able to realise the dream of a "Castration-Mobile-Vehicle"! Emergency calls keep coming in, especially from rural areas and up in the mountains. Many people there have little money & possibilities. For them, the way to Baile Herculane is half a world trip and they would never be able to come to our shelter for a free castration campaign. They would love to castrate their animals, but the journey with the animal to the vet simply cannot be made possible. In addition, there are many free-roaming dogs up there in the mountains, all of which are not neutered and continue to multiply year after year. With the Castration-Mobile-Vehicle we are self-sufficient and our veterinary team is mobile. We can travel to the villages and offer our free help - for owner dogs, but also for the free-roaming street dogs of the region. Mishu (Shelter Manager) is already talking to some of the mayors in the region to make them aware of this innovation. If dramatic emergencies are found during such missions, they can be taken to our shelter. All other dogs that are fit stay there and are allowed to live their free lives there. ProDogRomania e.V. will finance the complete vehicle and of course we need your help! The vehicle has already been found, the papers are ready and it will be brought to Romania as soon as possible! Cisco Sambrama volunteers are actively participating in all the COVID-19 relief efforts led by Rashtrotthana Parishat. Rashtrotthana Parishat is an NGO working in the field of health and education since 1965. Rashtrotthana Parishat has set up four in-situ COVID Care Centers (CCCs) with permission from BBMP. The locations are 1. Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra Ramamurthy Nagara, Bengaluru. 2. Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra Banashankari, Bengaluru. 3. Mangala Vidya Mandira, Yelahanka Newtown, Bengaluru. 4. Vidyasagar Preschool, Sanjay Nagar, Bengaluru. These are facilities where COVID Patients with mild or no symptoms can be isolated and monitored to relieve the burden on the healthcare system as the city's daily COVID count has been riding to thousands. The facilities are being planned for 2 months at this instance. The organisation extended its support by providing home isolation kits for COVID-19 affected. Along with it, Rashtrotthana Parishat continuing its support for the Thalassemia patients by providing free medical assistance for them. You can help by contributing to the COVID-19 Relief Fund by Sambrama in association with Rashtrotthana Parishat. The Cisco Foundation will match eligible donations up to $25,000 per employee (against employees' annual limit).

COVID-19 cases are surging in India, where health centers are overwhelmed with the demand for care. They need oxygen and vaccines. They also need clean water. Help us save lives. Help us get water to critical points of care so that frontline staff can care for patients safely and those suffering are assured the most basic tenets of care. Health centers require running water to maintain basic hygiene, keep patients hydrated and ensure doctors and nurses are able to wash hands between patients. That's where you come in. Make an emergency donation to support Covid-19 humanitarian aid. $1,000 can help prevent the spread of Covid-19 by keeping the water flowing in rural communities and health centers during India's dry season. $500 can build mobile handwashing stations, bringing hygiene to vulnerable communities so that people can wash hands on the go. $250 could provide health centers with emergency handwashing stations and toilets so that frontline health staff can protect themselves and their patients. $75 can get urgent hygiene messaging to vulnerable populations in dozens of languages to safeguard public health. We are monitoring the Covid-19 crisis closely in numerous countries and will launch rapid response efforts where needed. With India's dry season fast approaching, the situation will rapidly become more dire, and emergency water supplies will be needed. Your emergency donation will help WaterAid reach people in India with life-saving clean water and hygiene programs to combat the spread of Covid-19. Why WaterAid? Join me in supporting The Surf Life Saving Foundation (SLSA) as I run my way down the coast of New South Wales. During July and August I will be solo-running 900kms/550mi from Byron Bay to Bondi Beach, with the assistance of a few mates crewing me down the coastline. Depending on the day and terrain, I will be covering 35km/22m per day.  Australia's famous coastline has given so much to me over the years. I have spent hours swimming, training, and patrolling at Bondi Beach and cannot imagine life without ocean swimming. In January 2020 I joined Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club in efforts to become more involved in the community and become a volunteer lifesaver. This has been one of the best aspects to moving to Australia and I have gained so much from this amazing community of people dedicated to keeping our beaches safe; this is my small part in giving back to SLSA and the Bondi community. Your contributions will help in numerous ways, but here are few primary examples: $60 is the cost to give volunteer surf lifesavers the training they need to be proficient in CPR each year. $78 helps towards the cost of equipment to our patrols. $96 gives volunteer surf life savers a vital 3rd day of training each year. $260 is the annual cost of training a surf lifesaver in First Aid & Advanced Resuscitation.
