Founded in 1986, the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF) is the oldest and largest national health advocacy organization working with Asian American (AA), Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (NHPI) communities across the nation, in the U.S. Territories and affiliated jurisdictions. APIAHF’s mission is to influence policy, mobilize communities, and strengthen programs and organizations to improve the health of AAs and NHPIs. APIAHF has headquarters in Oakland, CA and a policy office in Washington, DC. APIAHF has been a champion for health equity for 30 years. Across the nation and the Pacific, APIAHF serves as a bridge between influencers and communities, lifting up organizations and advancing health policy. APIAHF harnesses collective power so all people can be healthier and stronger. From the local to the national level, APIAHF equips communities and advocates to connect, mobilize, and engage with one another.APIAHF listens deeply to AA and NHPI communities, and uses our voice to advance policies that serve diverse health needs. Staff analyze regulations, inform legislation, and bring stories before the courts, all to articulate community issues directly to decision-makers and influencers.

National CAPACD is a progressive coalition of local organizations that advocate for and organize in low-income AAPI communities and neighborhoods. We strengthen and mobilize our members to build power nationally and further our vision of economic and social justice for all.

Asian Pacific Environmental Network (APEN) holds this vision of environmental justice for all people.Towards this vision, APEN brings together a collective voice to develop an alternative agenda for environmental, social and economic justice. Through building an organized movement, we strive to bring fundamental changes to economic and social institutions that will prioritize public good over profits and promote the right of every person to a decent, safe, affordable quality of life, and the right to participate in decisions affecting our lives. Our work focuses on Asian and Pacific Islander communities.
Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund
The Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF), founded in 1974, is a national organization that protects and promotes the civil rights of Asian Americans. By combining litigation, advocacy, education and organizing, AALDEF works with Asian American communities across the country to secure human rights for all.
Center for Asian American Media
The mission of the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) is to present stories that convey the richness and diversity of Asian American experiences to the broadest audience possible. CAAM is the leading Asian American media arts organization in the nation and a leading San Francisco arts and culture organization. CAAM accomplishes its mission by funding, producing, distributing and exhibiting works in film, television and digital media.
