Cisco has established this Fund to support organizations working against racism and discrimination in their many, destructive forms. Together we can make a difference – within our companies, our communities, and across the world. After you make a donation, be sure to match your contribution through your employer’s matching gifts program if available. If you are a Cisco employee, please make and match your donation at cisco.brightfunds.org. A note on tax deductibility: This fund includes organizations based in the U.S., and in other countries. Donors in the U.S. who make a credit card donation will receive a receipt for tax deductibility for all contributions to this fund or the organizations included. Donors outside the U.S. will not be able to receive a receipt for tax deductibility.

Hispanic Federation Inc

Hispanic Federation (HF) serves as a national model for Latino social, political and economic empowerment. Our mission is to empower and advance the Hispanic community. With headquarters in New York, offices in Washington, D.C., Florida, Connecticut, Puerto Rico, and North Carolina; and programs in a total of 20 states, HF has gained national recognition for its work in the areas of education, health, immigration, civic engagement, disaster relief, economic empowerment, philanthropy & the environment. Our Washington, D.C. gives HF a true national advocacy presence. HF works locally, state-wide, and nationally to strengthen Latino nonprofits, promote public policy advocacy, and bring to scale a portfolio of innovative community programs.

Chinese for Affirmative Action

CAA was founded in 1969 to protect the civil and political rights of Chinese Americans and to advance multiracial democracy in the United States. Today, CAA is a progressive voice in and on behalf of the broader Asian and Pacific American community. We advocate for systemic change that protects immigrant rights, promotes language diversity, and remedies racial injustice.

Asian Americans for Community Involvement of Santa Clara County

Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI)'s mission is to improve the health, mental health, and well being of individuals, families, and the Asian community.  We do this by providing an array of high quality health and human services, sharing expertise about the Asian community's needs and best service delivery practices, and providing Asian leadership in advocating on key health and human services issues.

Native American Rights Fund

NARF's objectives are to protect the rights of and seek justice for tribes and Native peoples. In the words of Executive Director John Echohawk, "We ask for nothing more, and will accept nothing less than the U.S. Government keeping the promises it has made to Native Americans." NARF currently represents more than 60 tribes in 20 states on a wide range of critical matters, including land into trust, federal recognition, subsistence hunting & fishing, federal trust responsibilities, protection of sacred places, voting rights, sovereign immunity, Indian Child Welfare, water rights and environmental issues.

Color Of Change Education Fund Inc

Color Of Change is the nation’s largest online racial justice organization.

We help people respond effectively to injustice in the world around us. As a national online force driven by more than 1.4 million members, we move decision-makers in corporations and government to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America.

Our campaigns and initiatives win changes that matter. By designing strategies powerful enough to fight racism and injustice—in politics and culture, in the workplace and the economy, in criminal justice and community life, and wherever they exist—we are changing both the written and unwritten rules of society. We mobilize our members to end practices and systems that unfairly hold Black people back, and champion solutions that move us all forward.

NAACP Legal Defense & Educ Fund Inc

The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund is America's legal counsel on issues of race. Through advocacy and litigation, LDF focuses on issues of education, voter protection, economic justice and criminal justice. We encourage students to embark on careers in the public interest through scholarship and internship programs. LDF pursues racial justice to move our nation toward a society that fulfills the promise of equality for all Americans.

Equal Justice Initiative

EJI is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, to challenging racial and economic injustice, and to protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.

Founded in 1989 by Bryan Stevenson, a widely acclaimed public interest lawyer and bestselling author of Just Mercy, EJI provides legal representation to people who have been illegally convicted, unfairly sentenced, or abused in state jails and prisons. We challenge the death penalty and excessive punishment and we provide re-entry assistance to formerly incarcerated people. In 2018, EJI plans to build a national memorial to victims of lynching and open a museum that explores African American history from enslavement to mass incarceration.

A leader in the development of materials, programs and services, ADL builds bridges of communication, understanding and respect, carrying out its mission through a network of 26 offices across the United States and a satellite office in Israel.
