Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum

APIAHF is the oldest and largest health advocacy organization working with Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities across the nation, in the US Territories, and with the USaffiliated Pacific jurisdictions. By providing policy and political analysis, research and data support, and effective communications strategies, APIAHF supports local AANHPI communities to have an influence on local, state, and national policy. By providing grants, training, technical assistance, and consulting, APIAHF is a source of key resources so that communities can mobilize and grow stronger in their coalitions and organizational structures.

Asian American LEAD's mission is to empower AAPI youth in underserved communities through culturally responsive programming and advocacy. Asian American LEAD serves youth in Washington, DC, Montgomery County, MD, and Fairfax County, VA.

The Chinese Progressive Association (CPA), originally founded as the Chinatown Peoples Progressive Association, is a grassroots community organization which works for full equality and empowerment of the Chinese community in Greater Boston and beyond, to improve living and working conditions, and to involve ordinary community members in making decisions that affect our lives. The CPA particularly targets the immigrant, working class sector of the Chinese community.

Santa Clara County Asian Law Alliance Inc

To advance equal access to the justice system for AAPI and low-income populations in Silicon Valley. Through legal assistance, community education, and organizing, ALA promotes self-sufficiency, self-reliance, and a better quality of life for all.

Chinese for Affirmative Action

Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA) was founded in 1969 to protect the civil and political rights of Chinese Americans and to advance multiracial democracy in the United States. Today, CAA is a progressive voice in and on behalf of the broader Asian and Pacific American community. In 2013, CAA founded Asian Americans for Civil Rights & Equality (AACRE) to address the rapidly changing landscape of Asian American activism in the Bay Area. Already serving as a fiscal sponsor for pivotal groups such as the Alliance of South Asians Taking Action (ASATA), Asian Prisoner Support Committee (APSC), Lavender Phoenix (LavNix), Hmong Innovating Politics (HIP), and Stop AAPI Hate (SAH), CAA built these efforts into a dynamic network.

The Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center (APALRC) is the legal advocate for justice for the Asian American community of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Working in partnership with APA communities, APALRC addresses the individual legal needs of low-income and limited-English proficient Asian Americans, advocates for broad-based systemic change on legal and civil rights issues impacting Asian Americans, and empowers APA community members through organizing strategies.

South Asian Youth Action (Saya)

SAYA is a 501(c)3 youth development organization in New York City for students in elementary school through college. Our mission is to foster a strong sense of belonging in youth and provide them with tools to thrive academically, professionally and personally. While South Asian-focused, SAYA is secular, inclusive and committed to connecting youth from all backgrounds to opportunities. Many of our youth are first- or second-generation immigrants and face challenges that can hinder their chances to be academically successful, graduate high school and go to college. SAYA provides an accessible, safe and culturally affirming space for all youth and offers mentorship beyond the classroom so they confidently grow into engaged community members ready for college, career and personal success.
