Card processing merchants, international donation services, and other transaction services used by Bright Funds to process and disburse funds involve applicable fees for their services.

US-based nonprofits receive funds through ACH payments or paper checks. Paper checks incur a per-check fee to accommodate the administrative costs associated with paper checks. We encourage every nonprofit to sign up for ACH payments, which do not incur a fee.
Nonprofits based outside of the US receive funds through wire transfer. Wire transfer fees may apply depending on the nonprofit’s bank.
