Payment processing costs

Card processing merchants, international donation services, and other transaction services used by Bright Funds to process and disburse funds involve applicable fees for their services.

Fundraising costs

Using a small fundraising fee, Bright Funds provides the technology and this service that helps create efficiencies in reducing nonprofit fundraising costs, and provide a truly delightful and rewarding giving experience.

Disbursement costs

US-based nonprofits receive funds through ACH payments or paper checks. Paper checks incur a per-check fee to accommodate the administrative costs associated with paper checks. We encourage every nonprofit to sign up for ACH payments, which do not incur a fee.
Nonprofits based outside of the US receive funds through wire transfer. Wire transfer fees may apply depending on the nonprofit’s bank.
