Trans-Fuzja Foundation is a Polish organization established in 2008 with an aim to support trans people in Poland. Within a few years the foundation has moved from a support-only approach, to an actively engaged organization with specific goals concerning the legal, social, economical and human rights situation of transgender people. After a few years of functioning, Trans-Fuzja became a recognizable expert organization working on (trans)gender-specific issues. Main areas of Trans-Fuzja's work are advocacy, education, support and promotion of trans culture. Foundation's office is based in Warsaw, but organisation works across the whole country, organising activities in several cities. Support groups for trans community and their families are taking place in Gdansk, Warsaw, Cracow, Katowice, Opole and Lublin. Foundation also provides counselling meetings with psychologists in all cities mentioned above. Online counselling and support is also provided, including support group for those, who are not able to attend offline ones. Online legal aid is also provided. All services, activities and support is always free of charge.
