Spectra Project was created to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender refugees living in the Middle East. Since resources for these individuals are extremely limited, Spectra Project will offer a safe space and immediate aid through emergency services. Spectra Project's long-term goal is to achieve lasting change through education, both for refugees who need new skills and to the public about the needs and issues of LGBT individuals.
Our mission is to inspire breakthroughs, and to achieve lasting change. Additionally, to educate the general public about the needs and issues affecting LGBTQ and other minorities, provide educational outreach to persons directly or indirectly involved with LGBTQ and other minorities, promote a positive image of LGBTQ and other minorities, and provide emergency support for recent escapees.
