The immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires are great, and the recovery process will be long and difficult in communities throughout several states. The list below are organizations providing immediate and long-term relief. Please note donations to this Fund will be distributed equally to the organizations listed below. If you would only like to donate directly to one or more, but not all, please use the campaign option and select only the organization(s) or you can upload your receipt and select the wildfire campaign.

The W.H.O. has declared COVID-19 a pandemic and public health emergency of international concern. We recognize that each community will have their own set of unique challenges in light of the Coronavirus. Bright Funds Foundation has established the 2020 Bay Area Coronavirus Response and Recovery Fund to address the specific needs of the Bay Area community. Through a single donation to the Fund, you can support multiple organizations' initiatives to provide short-term and long-term response and recovery. Given the ever-changing nature of this pandemic and widespread impact, the composition of the nonprofits in this Fund will evolve.

As a community foundation, SVCF is positioned to meet the ongoing needs of our local communities and take on unexpected challenges, including responding to the alarming spread of COVID-19. Join us in these efforts to protect public health and assist those whose livelihoods and lives have already been impacted in the Bay Area.
