Over the weekend, the south of Haiti was struck with a 7.2-magnitude earthquake, leaving close to 1500 people dead, and thousands injured. We're happy to partner with Daphney, an employee at Persado and also the founder of the Joumou Fund, to create a fund to help reputable Haitian-run organizations and initiatives that are on the ground working on relief efforts.As the needs change over the next few months, we're hoping to distribute donations to organizations including local clinics, food distribution, housing, schools, etc. Some of the organizations which we hope to support include For the kids of Haiti and Project St. Anne, two organizations already working in the affected regions.

BeLonG To is the national organisation supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI+) young people in Ireland. Since 2003, we have worked with LGBTI+ young people, between 14 and 23 years, to create a world where they are equal, safe, and valued in the diversity of their identities and experiences. We also advocate and campaign on behalf of young LGBTI+ people, and offer a specialised LGBTI+ youth service with a focus on mental and sexual health, alongside drug and alcohol support. We respond to the needs of LGBTI+ young people in Ireland and we help them thrive.

ShoutOut is a registered charity committed to improving life for LGBTQ+ people by sharing personal stories and educating school students, parents & guardians, teachers, youth workers and workplaces on LGBTQ+ issues.
