Casper Hurricane Dorian Disaster Response and Recovery Fund
Hurricane Dorian, which hit the northern Bahamas on Tuesday as one of the strongest Atlantic hurricanes on record, has caused extreme destruction on the Grand Bahama and Abaco Islands and has killed at least seven people there. Evacuations have been ordered for parts of Florida, Georgia and South Carolina as the Hurricane continues to move northward toward the U.S.
Casper has established the Hurricane Dorian Disaster Response and Recovery Fund, which is comprised of pre-vetted nonprofits providing on-the-ground disaster response in the region. Through a single donation to the Fund, you can support multiple organizations’ initiatives to provide short- and long-term response and recovery to those affected by Hurricane Dorian. The composition of nonprofits in this Fund is subject to change as we learn more about the most pressing needs of those affected on the ground.
