World Music Day Fund

About

Music is an art form which crosses the bounds of culture, language, genre, and geography, unifying people across the globe. World Music Day, originating in France and falling on June 21st each year, encourages people all over the world to enjoy the universal language of music in their own way: put on your headphones and listen to your favorite song; attend a musical event; play your favorite instrument; donate to your favorite music-based charity; there is no wrong way to celebrate! The benefits of music for the mind, body, and soul are endless, and World Music Day encourages the world to collectively indulge in one of humanity's greatest art forms. The following organizations are working to support the art of music by providing relief to struggling musicians, increasing music education funding in schools, and reaching those who are in need of the healing power of music. Your donation to this Fund will help these organizations meet their shared goal of ensuring that the art of music continues to thrive for years to come.
