Conflict has affected millions of people since fighting began in eastern Ukraine in 2014. Now with the recent invasion by Russian forces and the escalating hostilities, the situation is becoming increasingly desperate. With many being forced to flee their homes, there is great need for humanitarian assistance. You can help by donating to the Ukraine Humanitarian Assistance fund which supports the efforts of the organizations below, and have your donation matched by Cisco Foundation, up to the limit of $25,000 per employee per year. Cisco will provide an additional corporate match through end of FY22.

Mercy Corps U.S.

Mercy Corps is mobilizing a team first to Poland and then, depending on safety and access, into Ukraine - to assess humanitarian needs, provide cash assistance and support local organizations in their relief efforts.

Americares

Americares is deploying an Emergency Response Team to Poland. They will be sourcing / distributing medicine and medical supplies to partners in Ukraine and countries across Eastern Europe; are prepared to launch mobile medical teams as needed that can provide primary / mental health services as well as outpatient emergency care of injuries and other significant healthcare needs; and training local partners in providing community-based mental health and psychosocial support services including psychological first aid.

International Committee of the Red Cross

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is delivering clean water to hospitals and municipalities, repairing vital infrastructure, supporting health facilities with medicines and equipment, and supporting families with food and hygiene items.

World Central Kitchen, Inc.

World Central Kitchen is deploying a team to Poland to assess food needs there and in surrounding countries, and supporting those being displaced with meals.

Nova Ukraine

Nova Ukraine is distributing food and essential supplies to local communities and hospitals.

World Food Program USA

After receiving an official request for assistance from the Government of Ukraine, the World Food Programme (WFP) is launching an emergency operation to provide food assistance for people fleeing the conflict both within the country and in neighbouring ones. WFP is scaling up to reach 3.15 million through cash-based transfers as well as in-kind food distributions. WFP is also preparing to provide assistance to displaced Ukrainians in refugee hosting countries.
