Youthprise

Youthprise is a Minnesota not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established in October 2010 by The McKnight Foundation. Our mission is to increase equity with and for Minnesota's indigenous, low-income, and racially diverse youth. We envision a Minnesota where outcomes for youth are no longer predictable by race, geography, or socioeconomic status.

Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota

MENTOR Minnesota, formerly the Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota, launched in 1994 as a community initiative to promote mentoring for Minnesota youth. For over 20 years, we have led the mentoring movement to ensure youth and mentors have access to high-quality mentoring experiences through our network of 200 mentoring programs. Our mission is to build and elevate the capacity of programs, systems, and policies to strengthen youth mentoring relationships.

Minnesota Teen Challenge, Inc.

For over 30 years, Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge has been restoring hope to teens and adults struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Our mission is to assist teens and adults in gaining freedom from chemical addictions and other life controlling problems by addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Our goal is to evaluate the core issues of mind, body and spirit, find solutions, and teach transitional life skills that enable both teens and adults the ability to re-join their families and become contributing members of their families and communities.

Cookie Cart

Cookie Cart teaches life, leadership, and employment skills to teens of color through on-the-job and classroom experiences in nonprofit bakeries.

Free Bikes 4 Kidz

MISSIONFree Bikes 4 Kidz MN is a nonprofit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthy childhood by providing bikes to those most in need. The public donates gently used bikes, we organize thousands of volunteers to clean and refurbish them, and then we give them away to youth in need. Free Bikes 4 Kidz MN represents the largest bike give-away program in the US and occupies an important and underserved segment of service to the low-income population in Minnesota.

Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities

The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Power of Story

Power of Story's vision is that young people who have experienced out of home placement have equal, consistent person-centered access to their history, stories, photos, and medical information. Understanding and having access to your personal life history is key to building a healthy identity, accessing appropriate interventions, feeling accepted and processing a complex past, but is often not available to young people who have experienced foster care, adoption or kinship care. We engage young people, care-takers and professionals in the research and curation of life histories, provide training rooted in youth-centered best practices, and advocate for increased awareness and quality implementation of life histories.
