San Francisco Bay Area Education Fund

Through the San Francisco Bay Area Community Impact Grants (CIG) Program, Cisco addresses an acute need of communities in the region—namely, the foundational skills gap in literacy and numeracy among elementary grade level students. Included in this fund are seven current CIG nonprofit partners who demonstrate: • an understanding of the challenges faced by students who are struggling to read and do math at grade level or most at risk of falling far behind, • offer proven or innovative solutions to address these challenges, and • have potential for replication and scaling across communities to increase reach. This is a set of strategic partners which Cisco and Cisco Foundation support with cash grants, donations of technology, and capacity building consultations. When you contribute to these organizations or this fund, you are investing in solutions that have significant positive impact on students in the region. Note on Tax Deductibility: This fund includes U.S.- based organizations. U.S. employees who make a credit card donation will receive a receipt for tax deductibility for the portion of the donation contributed to these organizations. Employees outside the U.S. will not be able to receive a receipt for tax deductibility for credit card donations to organizations in this fund.
