Lebanese Red Cross
The Lebanese Red Cross is the National Society in the country since 1945 leading in Emergency Medical Services and Blood Transfusion Centers. LRC is present in Lebanon in peace time as in times of conflicts, lately with the manifestations in the country and in February with the Covid19 outbreak. LRC also has Primary Health Centers, a disaster management unit other than the supporting sections.
CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. We place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. Women are at the heart of CARE's community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of HIV, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources. CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.
Union of Relief and Development Associations
We commit to assisting and nurturing human beings regardless of age, race, gender, nationality, faith or political affiliation. Whether we intervene in disaster relief or sustainable development actions, we serve both underserved Lebanese citizens as well as Palestinian and Syrian refugee communities to the highest international, professional, and ethical standards.
