To ensure that all elementary students develop the strong foundation in math and enthusiasm for academics needed for long-term success, by helping schools use volunteers as tutors. Community members commit one hour per week to deliver an effective, hands-on curriculum through one-on-one tutoring sessions during the school day in Title I elementary schools.

Roc Charlotte Inc

To recruit, educate, and mentor high school students for career and technical education employment opportunities in the construction industries.

Common Wealth Charlotte (CWC) empowers Charlotte's low-income wage earners—the approximate 250,000 people working full-time and making 30-45% of Area Median Income (AMI)—to achieve greater financial stability and less reliance on government and charitable assistance through a trauma-informed approach including education, personalized counseling, access to banking, and no-interest loans.

Child Care Resources Inc. is a private, non-profit child care resource and referral (CCR&R) agency that works with families and communities to ensure that all children have access to high quality, affordable early learning and school-age opportunities and experience which enable them to succeed in school and in life. Our centers of expertise include: family information services, program and business consultation, financial aid, and research and policy development.
