Family Promise of Monmouth County
This year in America alone, more than 2.5M children and their parents will experience homelessness. Imagine the fear as a parent in not being able to shelter, feed or care for your children. Families should remain together, and not be separated, during the most difficult times in their lives. Families who enter Family Promise have a 81% chance of finding permanent housing and exit the program with the skills and knowledge required to never return to the streets or their car for shelter. With permanent housing, parents can maintain employment and children can receive the education and support they require to enter the world with the tools and knowledge required to one day be self-sufficient.
Causes that benefit children are near and dear to me; our participation in Family Promise began with my daughter's mitzvah project two years ago and has blossomed into something my wife and I and our four kids actively support and participate in.
Please help me fight family homelessness, one family, one child at a time. My goal is to raise $20,000.00 to support this remarkable non-profit, inter-faith charity so that more children can grow up and lead productive, independent lives.
