The charity was established to help women, and their children and families, who are in conditions of need, hardship, danger or distress, and to preserve and protect their health and advance their education. The Trust aims its work particularly at women of Asian, African and Caribbean origin residing in the West London area.

African American Heritage Preservation Foundation, Inc.

The African American Heritage Preservation Foundation, Inc. has been engaged in activities that include the preservation, maintenance, and awareness of endangered or little-known African American historical sites in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Regions. In addition, the African American Heritage Preservation Foundation, Inc. acts as a resource center for community groups, preservationists, genealogical and historical societies, not-for-profit organizations and government entities, nation-wide, needing assistance in the preservation of African American historical sites and history. The Foundation has its own web site that provides information on its activities and serves as a research tool that is used by teachers and students ranging from middle school through postgraduate studies.

Innocence Project Inc

The Innocence Project's mission is to free the staggering numbers of innocent people who remain incarcerated and to bring substantive reform to the system responsible for their unjust imprisonment.The Innocence Project is a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating innocentpeople who are wrongfully convicted — primarily through DNA testing — and reforming the criminal legal systemto prevent future injustice. First launched as a legal clinic in 1992 by co-founders Barry Scheck and PeterNeufeld at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, the Innocence Project became an independent nonprofit in 2004 and maintains an affiliation with Cardozo today.
