About
The massive explosion that struck Beirut on August 4 has killed at least 100 people, and injured more than 4,000. The cause of the explosion is believed to be ammonium nitrate that had been stored in a warehouse at the city's port. Some 300,000 people have been displaced from their homes by the explosion, while search and rescue efforts continue.
