Beirut Explosion Fund

The massive explosion that struck Beirut on August 4 has killed at least 100 people, and injured more than 4,000. The cause of the explosion is believed to be ammonium nitrate that had been stored in a warehouse at the city's port. Some 300,000 people have been displaced from their homes by the explosion, while search and rescue efforts continue. The Cisco Foundation will match eligible donations as part of employees' $25,000 annual match limit. Note on Tax Deductibility: This fund may include organizations based in the US, and in other countries. US employees who make a credit card donation will receive a receipt for tax deductibility for the portion of the donation contributed to US organizations. Employees outside the US will not be able to receive a receipt for tax deductibility for credit card donations to organizations in this fund.
