Children in Belize Learn About Hygiene

In February a volunteer medical team traveled with Project C.U.R.E. to Santa Elena, Belize, to assist the staff at La Loma Luz Adventist Hospital with patient care and converting an unused storage room into a bright, clean area to accommodate three additional patients. The team traveled to the nearby village of San Jose Succtoz, where they taught children from pre-school through first grade about brushing teeth, handwashing, nutrition and burn prevention. Multi-vitamins and toothbrushes were also provided for every student at the school.
