Phenomenal Women Global (PWG) is a non-profit organization based in Switzerland and Uganda with a mission to connect, advance, and empower women and girls by supporting their personal and professional growth; developing leadership skills; coaching, and mentoring. Through capacity building and a mentoring program, the PWG aims to contribute to global efforts towards gender equality, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the wider society by focusing on developing the skills and leadership of women, especially those from underserved communities. PWG seeks to promote the participation of women in decision-making processes that affect their lives, including on national and global issues, and to eliminate discrimination against women and gender-based violence that inhibits women's progress.

With the purpose of developing women into socially conscious global leaders and creating safe spaces for women to share their experiences, PWG organized 2 leadership conferences in Switzerland in 2018 and 2019 with 150 to 200 participants and 7 webinars with an average of 500 global views each. With a total of 1000 Facebook followers, PWG reaches a wider audience, especially youth. With offices in Africa, USA, and Europe, PWG has held and hosted leadership conferences and networking events in Zimbabwe, Uganda, USA (Boston), and South Africa.

After conducting several activities in the past on women's empowerment, nationally and globally PWG would now like to move a step further and open a women's hub.

The Women's Hub is an innovative co-working space for constructive discussions on strategies from women advancing in leadership, career, and business as well as discussions on gender-based challenges and discrimination and raising awareness on the issues and advocating for change. As a social club for independent and creative women, the Women's Hub offers events to promote female leadership, life skills, and professional development through mentoring and training courses. It also provides a safe space to discuss and address issues affecting women such as domestic violence, workplace harassment, inequality, and racism that affect women's personal and professional growth. A workspace for women who would like to develop practical/vocational skills and generate income for example in tailoring, jewelry making, and artwork, will also be available.

The five main objectives of the Women's Hub (seek to contribute to SDG 5) are to:

- Promote female economic development and vocational skills especially for immigrants and improve their livelihood
- Provide a safe space to discuss and seek solutions to gender-based challenges including racism and discrimination
- Strengthen confidence, life skills and develop female leadership
- Provide access to a network of experienced and like-minded people.
- Promote cultural awareness and intercultural exchange.

Key activities and impact:
- Through online webinars, in person-trainings, and capacity-building programs, the Hub intends to empower more than 40 women with financial and entrepreneur skills from June to September 2021.

- The annual leadership conference in September 2021 will bring together more than 150 women of diverse backgrounds to discuss leadership, entrepreneurship, and career development, and also social and systemic challenges affecting women including racism, discrimination, and work-life balance. The conference also builds confidence and life skills.

- Following its launch in September 2021, the co-working space will be accessible to more than 500 women throughout the year. With the aim of empowering 40 female refugees and immigrants and creating a safe space for discussion on gender challenges and discrimination.

- The Hub will collaborate with organizations that support refugees and women from underserved communities, to connect them with experts in 4 sessions of career and vocational skills.

- With the aim of promoting cultural awareness, the Hub intends to connect Swiss and underserved women in a mentorship program. In the beginning 25 mentors and 25 mentees from June to September 2021.
