About

Through the Global Impact Grant (GIG) Program, Cisco helps emerging non-profit organizations apply digital technology solutions to have the broadest impact in some of the most economically underserved parts of the world. This is a set of strategic partners which Cisco and Cisco Foundation support with cash grants, donations of technology, and capacity building consultations. When you contribute to this fund, you are investing in solutions that have significant positive impact on students in the region. Included in this fund are six current nonprofit partners that focus on K-8 science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs with reach in the across the Americas that demonstrate the following: • Evidence based student learning • Reaching students inclusively • Positive changes in student behaviors • Persistence in STEM pathway towards a STEM career Note on Tax Deductibility: This fund includes U.S.- based organizations. U.S. employees who make a credit card donation will receive a receipt for tax deductibility for the portion of the donation contributed to these organizations. Employees outside the U.S. will not be able to receive a receipt for tax deductibility for credit card donations to organizations in this fund.

Benetech is a nonprofit dedicated to reducing social and economic inequity in partnership with the communities that we serve through software for social good. Benetech’s initiatives are transforming how students, jobseekers, and older adults across the globe read, learn, and work.For nearly 20 years, our Bookshare initiative has been a trusted source of accessible ebooks for people with dyslexia, low vision, cerebral palsy, and other reading barriers, making education more inclusive. Our latest software solutions, such as AI that transforms STEM books into accessible formats at scale are changing the way students with disabilities learn science, technology, engineering, and math.

Commonlit Inc

CommonLit helps ensure that all students graduate high school with the reading and writing skills they need to be successful in college and career. Our innovative model uses the power of technology to support teachers with high-quality free digital curriculum and assessment tools.

New Teacher Center

The NTC mission centers is to disrupt the predictability of educational inequities for systemically underserved students by accelerating educator effectiveness.
